Job Description:
We are looking for a Catering Manager, to manage our catering business. You should have an experience in catering and should be able to follow business strategies and hygiene standards. Prospective candidate will be responsible for managing business of Indian & Pakistani style dishes, maintaining the inventory of ingredients, ensuring the quality and freshness of the products, and delivering all the catering orders to the customers. You will also be part of a friendly and supportive team that works together to create a memorable experience for our customers.
Entry Requirements:
- Expertise in Indian & Pakistani style dishes;
- Minimum 3 years, high volume catering/banquet experience;
- Excellent knowledge of relevant food and health & safety regulations;
- Strong and rational communication, documentation and organizational skills;
- Knowledge and maintain food cost and hygiene regulations;
- Ability to lead and mentor a team with high volume, restaurant experience and must have worked in restaurants doing over sales annually;
- Skilled in writing production lists, F&B proposals and requisitions;
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure efficient preparation, production and serving of high quality food with a specific remit, standards and budget.
- To work collaboratively with all other members of the Senior Management Team and work on common targets.
- To strategically develop the café and community kitchen.
- To manage all staff, apprentices and volunteers, including and training, recruitment, creating rotas and supervising staff.
- To organise and manage events and workshops.
- Participate fully in all meetings, training, personal development and forums.
- To work with the Business Development Manager and Directors.
- To maintain high environmental standards.
- To support, develop and deliver the farms charitable objectives and educational mission.
- To comply with the arrangements made to deliver services.
